For my Honors project I decided to make then draw all of the Main JoJo's from JoJo's Bizarre Adventure. I wanted to make this for how I like the franchise as a whole and the characters them self. While drawing the design I made in Photoshop(First Picture) It just came to mind that I don't have the right colors for this if I were to draw and color this in. so I went out and got the colors I thought I needed. Then when I started to color I realized the colors I got were messed up. After a little bit of messing up the colors I went and then dropped the colors that were in the picture, and switched to the official colors that the creator (Hirhiko Araki) approved of. the colors that were in the manga/books. I also had carelessly put the colored version of the picture in to my backpack and it got a lot of really bad creases in paper. I then went and just left it and gave the creases more color to look like it was on purpose. I liked doing all of this for it taught me to make due with what I had and try to make a problem in to a part of the design. I also went through the process of putting a drawn picture on Photoshop and that was a new but cool experience. through that whole Photoshop process I wished I went and put more time in to finding the colored pencils instead of putting in the colors I went and bought at Walmart. The time I would have been better spent coloring instead of trying to eyeball the way the characters looked. I also would have gotten the equipment sooner. I went and bought a board that has a light under it so I could go and trace the picture instead of free hand drawing it. After this whole experience I have a great respect to all of the people that go and animate these characters on a weekly basis. to make a new episode with all of the movement looking real and like a real human clothes and hair would move.
